Welcome all to my weekly MTG Arena Video series! Each Monday and Friday I’ll have a new video ready to watch!
It’s time for another Alchemy Deck Tech with the new Alchemy season starting recently. Today I’ll be playing an Azorius Control deck. The goal of the deck is to take advantage of the value associated with two new Alchemy cards. The first is Futurist Spellthief which allows you to put a duplicate of any spell on the stack into your hand. This allows you to get an instant, enchantment, creature or anything else you want. The other new Alchemy creature is Saiba Syphoner. This allows you to get back your most powerful instants and sorceries from your graveyard to cast again. Mix in some other counterspells and removal and you are in complete control. You can finish off your opponent with your land Hall of Storm Giants, or with a couple Angels from Emeria’s Call.
