Fblthp and Lyra turn Mono Blue into a ridiculous card-drawing machine in MTG Arena Standard! This Mythic Rank Best-of-One deck overwhelms opponents with card advantage, flying threats, and answers to the meta.
We built Mono-Blue Turbo Draw around two new cards: Fblthp, Impossibly Lost and Lyra, Tolarian Archangel. The original idea was to draw through our entire deck and potentially win with Fblthp’s alternate win condition.
But something unexpected happened.
We were generating so much card advantage that we didn’t actually need to empty our library! Between Fblthp, Lyra, Enduring Curiosity, Flitterwing Nuisance, and Silent Hallcreeper, we could simply outdraw our opponents and overwhelm them with threats and interaction.
Meanwhile, Tishana’s Tidebinder, Aetherize, Into the Flood Maw, and Soul-Guide Lantern give us powerful tools against popular Standard strategies.
We took this original Mono-Blue Midrange brew into Mythic Rank Standard Best-of-One and won the majority of our matches!
