*Pioneer Lotus Field Combo* just got a massive upgrade, and we’re making a bold move — cutting _Dig Through Time_ for _Stock Up!_
*How does the deck work?*
The goal is to get _Lotus Field_ into play and copy it with _Thespian’s Stage_ or level up _Artist’s Talent._ This gives us access to massive amounts of mana, which we untap using _Hidden Strings_ and _Vizier of Tumbling Sands._
From there, we generate card advantage with _Pour Over the Pages_ and _Stock Up,_ digging through the deck to assemble our win condition. Once we have enough resources, we use _Wish_ to grab _Aetherflux Reservoir_ from the sideboard and storm off for the win.
*Why play _Stock Up?_*
Unlike _Dig Through Time,_ _Stock Up_ costs three mana instead of eight, making it a much more flexible tool for finding _Lotus Field_ early. Later in the game, it works perfectly with _Artist’s Talent,_ often costing just a single blue mana while still drawing two cards.
This *Explorer* event on *Magic Arena* puts _Stock Up_ to the test in a full _Lotus Field_ shell. Can it truly replace _Dig Through Time?_ Let’s find out!
