We add new cards Reflection Net and Scalesoul Gnome to an HGG standard deck (see below for a link), Alchemize it, throw in some Dollmaker for added fun and the results are – you guessed it – golden! Quintorius Kand leads to Geological Appraiser leads to Etali’s Favor leads to Imodane’s Recruiter for big critters appearing out of nowhere. Add some prototype artifacts and Zoetic Glyph and every turn is a surprise for our opponents.

Things to know:
First, Dollmaker – it’s good for a bunch of things:
– Getting a second boost out of Imodane’s Recruiter,
– Getting a second discover out of Quintorius Kand
– Exiling another creature with Reflection Net (especially if it exiled a token)
– In a pinch, play it after combat and you can ‘untap’ a creature to be a blocker (and make it indestructible, too!)
– Stripping counters off opponent creatures & artifacts
– Prevent opponent from transforming or crafting – tokens can’t, they can’t exile and don’t have anything to transform into!
– It DOESN’T get a second discover out of Geological Appraiser – it only discovers when cast.
Other Stuff:
– Boromir is the deck’s achilles heel; it’s easy to forget he counters all 0-cost spells, so you can’t chain discovers with him on the battlefield
– enchantments are also a problem, but usually not too much of one.
