Alien Invasion probably wasn’t designed to be the finisher in a Naya control deck—but here we are.
This Standard Best of One build spends the early game slowing everything down with Torch the Tower, Get Lost, Authority of the Consuls and Day of Judgment. Once the battlefield is under control, Alien Invasion starts producing a new threat every turn, with each Alien arriving larger than the last.
The part I really like is how the supporting cards overlap.
Caretaker’s Talent draws cards from the tokens. Terrasymbiosis turns the invasion counters into even more cards. Elspeth, Storm Slayer doubles the token production. Shared Roots helps us reach the expensive pieces while fixing all three colors.
So although this looks like a Naya token deck, it plays much more like control: remove everything, disrupt the graveyard, stabilize the board and eventually let Alien Invasion win by itself.
We’re testing the complete 60-card brew in Mythic-ranked Standard BO1 on MTG Arena.
