Commune instead of Smugglers?! Stampede Dinos Explorer and Pioneer

The new Smugglers Surprise does so much great stuff! However I feel Commune with Dinosaurs would be more right for what I’m looking to accomplish with Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant. In general, the early game would be smoother having Commune instead. It would open up greater keeps and riskier keeps.

It would mean I get to crucial lands far more often because I only need to spend a single green.
