We ran into CROKEYZ on the Mythic ladder — and Storm Breaker 3.0 actually got the win! This Azorius Equipment deck uses Kíli the Resourceful, Lady Octopus and The Mighty Thor, Jane Foster to turn Equipment into free equips, free artifact casts and a ridiculous amount of card draw in MTG Arena Standard Best of One.
Kíli the Resourceful is the newest piece holding everything together. Whenever another Dwarf or Equipment we control enters, Kíli draws us a card once each turn. Once we have an enduring story, the first equip ability we activate each turn can cost 0 instead.
That makes normally expensive Equipment MUCH easier to weaponize.
Lady Octopus, Inspired Inventor turns all of our extra card draw into ingenuity counters, eventually letting us cast increasingly expensive artifacts from our hand without paying their mana costs.
The Mighty Thor, Jane Foster gives us another draw engine whenever an Equipment enters while also letting us blink a creature or artifact whenever she attacks.
Then we load up our threats with cards like:

💉 Super-Soldier Serum
🔮 Astrologian’s Planisphere
Super-Soldier Serum gives us another way to move our Equipment without paying normal equip costs, while Astrologian’s Planisphere gives the deck another creature from an Equipment slot. Zack Fair helps us establish our legendary permanents for enduring story while providing protection for our important creatures.
With Kíli drawing cards, Thor drawing cards and Lady Octopus rewarding those draws, Storm Breaker 3.0 can snowball incredibly quickly once the engine gets going.
We’re maintaining roughly Top 1,800 Mythic with the build, and getting matched against Crokeyz — and actually taking the win — made this one especially fun.
