Selesnya Lifegain was already one of the easiest ways to build an enormous battlefield in MTG Arena Standard—and Tigra, Feline Fury makes it even more explosive.
This Green and White Lifegain aggro deck upgrades the familiar beginner-friendly strategy with two new Marvel Super Hero cards: Tigra, Feline Fury and Heroic Feast.
Hinterland Sanctifier, Virulent Emissary and Haliya, Guided by Light keep the lifegain triggers flowing. Every trigger can grow Essence Channeler, Leonardo, Cutting Edge and Tigra into increasingly dangerous attackers.
Heroic Feast fits the strategy perfectly by gaining life, creating Food and distributing +1/+1 counters across the battlefield. Sheltered by Ghosts gives us interaction, while Restoration Magic protects our most important threats and can recover key permanents from the graveyard.
With Leyline of Hope occasionally beginning the game on the battlefield, this deck can start building its lifegain engine before the first turn even begins.
The game plan is simple:
Gain life.
Trigger the team.
Build enormous creatures.
End the game before the opponent stabilizes.
This is a straightforward Standard Best-of-One Selesnya Lifegain deck that is easy to understand, satisfying to play and capable of producing some ridiculous boards on MTG Arena.
