#magicthegathering Rakdos Vampires in Pioneer was a breakout deck at pro tour chicago, winning the whole thing. The tech of Vein Ripper and Sorin impervious bloodlord can easily be ported over to MTG Timeless in a mono black shell boosted by other power cards like dark ritual, necropotence and bowmaster. Turn 1 vein ripper is the goal! Outside of that we are playing a disruptive midrange deck to combat all the various combo decks of the format. We played some games in best of one to demo the deck but could see if being reasonable in best of three since you can shift your focus around more removal / discard as appropriate. I did play around with cutting necropotence and going up 1 more kalitas and 1 sorin the mirthless in place. I have updated the manabase since playing and went up 1 more land over an edict.
