Quicksilver can begin the game directly on the battlefield—and this Boros Aggro deck is built to turn that free opening creature into an explosive double-strike finish.
Today we are ranking up in MTG Arena Standard Best of One with Quicksilver, Brash Blur alongside Practiced Offense, Boros Charm and Lightning, Army of One. The deck combines haste, trample, +1/+1 counters and multiple ways to grant double strike, allowing even a modest battlefield to produce an enormous amount of damage.
Lightning, Army of One is particularly dangerous. Once it connects, our following damage is doubled, and pairing that effect with Practiced Offense or Boros Charm can end a match almost immediately.
The deck also has more synergy than a typical all-in aggro build. Inti, Seneschal of the Sun provides trample, counters and card advantage while helping us discard Practiced Offense for flashback. Casting cards from the graveyard then triggers Hardened Academic, while Veteran Survivor gives us additional graveyard value and interaction against reanimator strategies.
Slickshot Show-Off rewards our high noncreature-spell count, Burnout Bashtronaut supplies another natural double-strike threat, and Spectacular Spider-Man offers flash, evasion and protection.
