Smaug the Magnificent turns our entire Treasure hoard into DAMAGE in this Mono-Red MTG Arena Standard deck! 🔥🐉
The plan is simple: make an absurd number of Treasures with Magda, Generous Plunderer, The Misty Mountains Cold and our other engines — then attack with Smaug and send that Treasure count directly at our opponent.
But Peter Parker’s Camera is where things get really nasty.
The Camera can copy Smaug the Magnificent’s attack trigger, copy Generous Plunderer’s damage trigger, copy Magda’s activated ability, or even copy Collector’s Vault when we need more card selection and Treasures.
J. Jonah Jameson also turns our menace creatures into Treasure generators, while Burnout Bashtronaut can use those Treasures to pump itself and gain double strike. Sword of Wealth and Power adds even more Treasure generation while giving our burn spells additional upside.
So we’re basically playing Mono-Red Burn… except our Treasures are ammunition.
