This NEW Elemental Is INSANE! | MTG Arena Standard

The NEW Frostbite Pyromental is bringing some serious firepower to MTG Arena Standard! Today we’re playing Izzet Elementals, combining Ball Lightning, Champion of the Path, and some explosive damage synergies to overwhelm our opponents in Mythic-ranked Best-of-One.

Frostbite Pyromental is a three-mana 4/4 with trample and haste that draws TWO cards when it connects! The catch? We have to sacrifice it at the end of the turn.

That’s where things get interesting.

With Ball Lightning providing another massive hasty threat, Champion of the Path converting Elemental entries into direct damage, and Callous Sell-Sword letting us throw our creatures at our opponents, this deck has some incredible damage potential.

We’re also running Scalding Viper to bounce our creatures before they sacrifice themselves, Vibrance for removal and Elemental synergy, and Flamebraider to help accelerate our game plan.
