Alchemy Horizons: Baldur’s Gate Premier Draft (Best of 1)
—
Hello everyone! Once again, I am back with something a little different to showcase on my channel. I’m going back to the past with this one to do my first real showcase of the card game Magic: The Gathering, playing one of the draft modes in Magic: The Gathering Arena with the newest set of cards that is the Baldur’s Gate set.
I’m sort of a longtime fan of Magic: The Gathering but hadn’t ever really played in a competitive way back in my younger years when I had my early experiences with it. I did play a bit of the MTG game Duels of the Planeswalkers on my Xbox 360 back around 2009/2010 when that was around, but MTG: Arena is the first highly accessible way to play matches online and truly build out decks in a way that is much more friendly to newcomers than previous video game attempts like Magic Online. MTG is much different now than it was back when I first discovered it, which I guess is sort of inevitable with how powerful many of the cards are now compared to say 20 years ago. But the game can still be a very fun and interesting experience, and the draft format gives you interesting decisions to make before you even play a single match.

At 39:50 apparently I can’t count, what I meant to say there is that I agree with it being a 15 land deck. But it would still be a good (and safer) choice to play this sort of deck with 16 lands.
